Led design reviews with the chief engineer and senior design executives to define design intent and balance it with key performance metrics (safety, sustainability, cost, mass, ergonomics, quality, and craftsmanship).
Collaborated with studio designers daily to integrate high volume manufacturing requirements into studio surfaces.
Prepared Request for Quotation (RFQ) package for supplier selection; created a "Should cost" excel calculator to benchmark supplier quotes
Defined datum and attachment strategies using 2D and 3D Tolerance Analysis; designed fixtures and prototypes to validate design.
Employed GD&T knowledge to create and sign off on 2D drawings.
